Path OF Exile Breaks Its Online Player Count Record With 117,000 People Were Logged In At The Same Time

Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. It is designed around a solid online item economy, deep character customisation, competitive PvP and ladder races. The game is completely free and will never be "pay to win".

Not long after it launched yesterday, the ARPG break its concurrent player record, and at its peak, 117,000 people were logged in at the same time.It was the first time through the game passed 100,000 simultaneous players, as per Steam Charts, and was more than double its highest player count in the three months earlier.
