Far Cry New Dawn Gameplay Video Revealed

Today a new 12-minute gameplay video is reveled covering the full intro sequence,including who you are and how you got there. 

In Far Cry New Dawn you're not a member of the Project at Eden's Gate , nor you are Joseph Seed's roomie from Far Cry 5. Instead, you are the "Captain," of a team which is led by Thomas Rush who travels the west coast of the US by train, helping people rebuild. 

Things were going right for the group after the train is attacked by a gang known as the Highwaymen as the train passes through Hope County. The train got derailed and the team is scattered or killed, and just when you and a pair of NPCs are on the brink of escape, you're caught! Prompt some bad guy exposition, a spot of viciousness to exhibit that they're Not Screwing Around, and after that an unexpected escape! Not for Thomas, however. He remains held solidly in the grip of evil. 

I know you might be thinking that it sounds familiar to Far Cry 5 and you are right.Swap the train for a helicopter and cut back on your partners a bit,I really like the way in which it reflects the connection between the two parts. Be that as it may, I also thought the ending of Far Cry 5 was stunning, so take that for what it's worth.

Far Cry New Dawn will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 15, 2019.
